Maintenance and Testing of Equipment
All equipment will be regularly maintained and plant personnel will be trained to operate:
1. Telephone and paging system will be checked daily.
2. Fire extinguishers will be charged and certified annually.

Access to Communications Equipment
1. Plant personnel have immediate access to the phone system at all times.
2. Plant personnel have immediate access to office by pressing two-digit extension of any Mesa Oil employee. Phone system is connected at all times to the office phone system via a dedicated circuit.
3. Plant personnel can immediately dial the emergency coordinators cellular phone or home phone.
4. Plant personnel can contact emergency services by dialing 911.

Required Aisle Space
1. There is adequate aisle space around all tanks and processing equipment within the containment area for emergency personnel to operate.
2. There is adequate aisle space within the warehouse around all stored drums, supplies and equipment for emergency personnel to operate.
3. There are two emergency exits inside the warehouse, which are labeled with exit signs.
4. All traffic lines and access to exit areas are identified with yellow floor lines. Plant personnel are instructed to keep the areas inside the yellow lines clear.
